Why You Still Want To Buy A Home

Why You Still Want To Buy A Home

With some people still unsure about the state of the economy, I couldn’t help but think about why you still want to buy a home.

I know for me it has always been a dream of mine. I’m confident in saying that owning your own home is the American dream, and something I encourage you to strive for.

Sure, you might worry about where the market is going, but who doesn’t?

Ask any professional Realtor if they are concerned with the housing market and they will tell you that nothing is guaranteed.

So I encourage you to make informed decisions about your home purchase and invest in a qualified Realtor to help you through the home buying process.

Let’s talk interest rates, briefly…

Interest rates are low right now which can make mortgage payments less than rental payments.

Does that mean that I see interest rates staying low forever?

No. How can they?

But don’t let that discourage you. Interest rates go up and down, so getting in on the low side is great!

There are also various loan programs to assist buyers that have not previously been in place, and mortgage companies are eager to assist with new home loans.

When you purchase your home that payment you are making is going into an investment.

Yes, the last few years were devastating to the housing market, but we are now in what I call “correction mode“.

As with anything, supply and demand drive the housing market.

As you have heard me talk about before, we are seeing desirable properties receiving multiple offers when priced right.

Supply is diminishing as demand is going up.

So, what are you waiting for?

With interest rates low and our area’s housing marketing becoming more stable, it may be time for you to really start thinking about buying a home. (But don’t think too long.)

Get pre-approved and call a licensed Realtor.

It’s time to put your money in your new home..
