REVIEW: Our Dinner At The NEW Travinia Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar

Travinia Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar

This week my family had the opportunity to enjoy dinner at the new Travinia Italian Restaurant at Grand Boulevard in Santa Rosa Beach.

It is located right next to the new Carmike Theater and has been serving contemporary American Italian food since 2002 across the country.

With the weather so beautiful, we decided to have dinner at one of the outside tables and just watch the people go by.

As the weather gets a little cooler you’ll still be able to sit outside, like many of us Floridians like to do, because Travinia has overhead heaters and fire pits to keep you warm.

Our server’s name was Lauren and she took care of our every need. The four of us ordered different items that started with calamari that was cooked to perfection with various peppers.

Dinner included: (MENU)

  • Chicken Parmesan – enough for two
  • Wild Mushroom Carbonara – very tasty
  • Cioppino Amalfi – something I’ve never heard of. It’s a seafood dish with shrimp, scallops, calamari, mussels and clams in a spicy lobster broth.
  • Lasagna Bolognese – very meaty and perfect portion size.

I definitely see Travinia Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar in our future, and as possibly a regular.

Reservations aren’t need, but to insure you get a table you can make your reservations right on line.

P.S. They also have a happy hour 3-7 nightly and Tuesdays 25% off all bottles of wine. And they have a Gluten Free Menu!
